Since the first edition of the Jewish Culture Festival in 1988, we have received support from the City of Krakow. 36 years of cooperation have made us close partners, supporting each other and jointly creating the brand of the city of Krakow.

The City of Krakow is the most important donor of the Jewish Culture Festival. Apart from the recognition of the festival’s status (both at home and abroad), this is also due to the awareness of how much our festival gives to the city. 30,000 visitors from all over the world, who come specially to the JCF every year, are significant tax revenues for the city budget, and an important income for local business.

For us, cooperation with the Kraków City Hall is not only a help in the implementation of the annual editions of the festival, but also an awareness that we are taking part in the extremely important process of creating the Kraków brand, building a positive image of our city both in Poland and abroad.

What is the result? According to the Report on the State of Culture in Krakow, commissioned by the City of Krakow, the Jewish Culture Festival is the cultural event most associated with Krakow among both Poles and international audiences.

We are proud to be able to contribute to the development of Krakow.
We are aware that such a festival would not be possible anywhere but Krakow.

Thank you!
