MLDVA DJS and ESTROPICAL, we are joining forces! Regardless of the name under which we met, we nevertheless played what we wanted to play. Sometimes it was boogaloo of the 1970s, sometimes Miami bass of the 1980s, sometimes kuduro and debka from the first decade of the 21st century, sometimes Turkish boom bap from the second decade, sometimes dembow from around 2015, sometimes the latest productions from Durban – and usually a mix of everything , at once, simultaneously.

We plan to continue to cultivate our eclecticism and what is important to us; a mystical adoration for the groove concentrated somewhere around the loins. Everything tropical, oriental, occidental, Afrocentric, slow and fast, new and old, together under one common denominator and cycle -> DIG – drum is god.
