We would like to invite you to a musical evening with NefEsh Trio, a band the name of which is more than meaningful. In Hebrew “nefesh” means the soul, while “esh” means fire. The connection of these words revokes the essence of musical exploration of an Italian trio composed by three musicians: Martino Pellegrini, Manuel Buda, and Davide Tedesco.

The group, founded in 2006, will present their unique sound, virtuosity, and passion for playing music on strings, even when one uses these instruments as, for example, a percussion instrument. The artists will take us on a musical journey beginning with the land of Jewish music – Klezmer, Sephardi, Yemeni, Israeli – followed by other styles such as jazz, Balkan music, Arabic music, tango, and folk music from different parts of the world. The band freely incorporates the varied musical heritage from the world, creating their own unique compositions.
