What Should Israel Hear Today? (PL/EN)

According to tradition, Israel, i.e. the house of Israel, i.e. all Jews, and not only the state of Israel, is to obey the instructions which come from the Torah. However, the message is not clear: some find militant concepts in the Torah, others refer to a long-standing opposing tradition: necessary defence must be combined with minimizing suffering. This is particularly important in the face of the ongoing war, which is not only a deadly military action, but also a global dispute over narratives. What is at stake is the legitimacy or delegitimization of this state. Does it still make sense for people today to draw lessons from the verses of the Torah? If not, what instead? If so, can Jews and Christians hear the same thing?
